The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing an Athletics Meet for the wards of Central Government Civilian Employees in Delhi/New Delhi on October 27th, 2024. This event coincides with the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, observed as National Unity Day, and the ongoing Fit India Freedom Run 5.0, themed around Swachhta and Swasthya. The competition is open to children in age groups 6-16, with a limit of two events per participant. Entry forms, along with copies of parents’ ID and the child’s Aadhar card, must be submitted by October 25th, 2024. Certain categories of employees, including those in uniform or working for autonomous bodies, are ineligible. The decision of the judges will be final, and parents/guardians are responsible for accompanying their children and acknowledging the CCSCSB’s safety measures.

The Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is observed as “राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस” (National Unity Day) to foster and reinforce commitment of strengthen the unity, integrity and it security of the nation. This year Fit India Freedom Run 5.0, which will start on 2nd October and culminate on 31st October 2024, coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, under the theme of Swachhta and Swasthya.
- On this occasion, Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organising Athletics Meet for wards of Central Government Civilian Employees working in Ministries located at Delhi/New Delhi at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, Chankyapuri, New Delhi on 27th October 2024 (Sunday) at 9.00 AM. There is NO ENTRY FEE for this Competition. The entry should be sent in the prescribed form along with copies of Parents’ office I.D. Card and Aadhar Card of the ward to the Board’s Office latest by 25th October 2024 by email at ccscsbsportsboard@gmail.com.
- The Competition will be held in the following categories:

- Wards of the following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in this competition:
- (a) Uniform personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organisations/Central Police Organisation/Police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NSG etc.
- (b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/ Corporations even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries.
- (c) Casual/Daily wages workers.
- (d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.
- Decision of the Judges will be final and no appeal against their decision would be entertained.
