The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the lateral shifting of Shri Rajiv Ranjan, IPS (SK:2005), from his deputation post of DIG, CRPF, to the post of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, CBI. This appointment is for a combined period of 5 years, effective until May 30, 2026, from the date of assuming the charge or until further notice, whichever occurs earlier.
