The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Shri Vedant Kanwar, IRS (IT:2016) as Superintendent of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation for an initial term of three years. Additionally, Shri Kavinder Singh Negi, IRS (IT:2015) has also been appointed as Superintendent of Police in the CBI for an initial period of four years. Both appointments are effective from the date they assume charge of their respective posts, and will continue until further orders or the end of their specified term, whichever comes first.

ORDER
Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for
i. induction of Shri Vedant Kanwar, IRS (IT:2016) as Superintendent of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post of until further orders whichever is earlier.
ii. induction of Shri Kavinder Singh Negi, IRS (IT:2015) as Superintendent of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation for an initial period of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post of until further orders whichever is earlier.
