The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Shri Amran Farooq, JKPS:2008, as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). His tenure will be for four years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. This order is addressed to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
