The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the induction of Shri Deepak M. Damor, IPS and Shri Pradip Kumar, IPS as Joint Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Both inductions are on a lateral shift basis from the Border Security Force (BSF) for a combined tenure of five years, up to June 28, 2027.
