A recent decision by the government has paved the way for the integration of several key positions from the Staff Selection Commission into the Central Secretariat Service. This move specifically includes one Deputy Director role and three Under Secretary positions. The Deputy Director post, currently situated within the Staff Selection Commission’s North Western Region office in Chandigarh, will see its official transfer become effective once its existing recruitment rules are formally abolished. It is understood that the three Under Secretary posts involved in this integration were established earlier in 2009. Authorities are now tasked with expediting the necessary procedures to remove the Deputy Director position from its current recruitment framework.
