This order conveys the approval of the Competent Authority for the extension of the central deputation tenure for Shri Prem Kumar Gautam, an IPS officer from the UP cadre (2005 batch), who holds the position of SP in the CBI. The extension is granted from January 27, 2018, until the date the CBI receives permission or further directions from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. The order is addressed to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation and copies are sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Director (Police) at MHA, Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website, and to the relevant and guard files.
