An official order has been issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, cancelling the earlier order dated January 18, 2018, which approved the induction of Dr. Sidhartha Mohan Jain, IPS (BH:2006) as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This cancellation was made with the approval of the Competent Authority. Copies of this order have been sent to the Director of the CBI, the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Under Secretary of MHA for IPS-II & III matters, the relevant file, and the guard file.
