This office memorandum directs cadre units to submit the preferred mode of seniority (SQ or LDCE) for 75 Personal Assistants promoted to the Private Secretary grade through the Combined SO/PS LDCE 2014 examination. Specifically, it addresses officials promoted both through the standard route and against SLY 2014. Cadre units are requested to forward the officials’ options, along with relevant appointment notifications, by December 30, 2016. The matter is to be given top priority. Annexures I and II are included, with Annexure I listing the officials and their details, and Annexure II providing a proforma for submitting the mode of selection.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Opting of mode of seniority on qualifying Combined SO/PS LDCE 2014 examination of Private Secretary (PS) Grade-reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No. 4/10/2014-CS.II(A) dated 19.01.2016 vide which 75 Personal Assistants were promoted in the Private Secretary grade on qualifying Combined SO/PS LDCE 2014. Out of aforesaid 75 officials, 21 officials (Annexure-I) had also been promoted as PS Grade against SLY 2014 under SQ vide this Department’s OM No. 4/15/2015-CS.II(A) dated 11.12.2015 & 11.02.2016. Since, their requisite details are essentially required to fix their seniority in the Common Seniority List in the PS Grade, all the concerned cadre units are requested to forward their option (either SQ or LDCE) submitted by the officials in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) along with the notification issued on appointing them in the PS Grade of CSSS to this Department latest by 30.12.2016. If there is any other official who has been promoted through both the mode (SQ \& LDCE), his/her details in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) also to be forwarded to this Department by due date.
2. The matter be accorded top priority.
