This office order announces the transfer of responsibilities for the Foundation/Induction Training of IAS officers. Effective immediately, the work previously handled by the AIS/Services Division will now be managed by the Training Division of the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). This decision was made following a meeting on January 21, 2015, chaired by Shri T. Jacob, Additional Secretary (Services & Vigilance), and has been approved by the Secretary (P). The order specifies the recipients and relevant departments, including the Assistant Secretary (S&V), Joint Secretary (Training), Directors at LBSNAA, S&V Division, and Training Division, as well as the e-Office Team for portal upload. Copies are also being sent to the Private Secretary to the Minister of State (Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions), Private Secretary to the Secretary (P), and the Senior Technical Director at NIC for website dissemination.

OFFICE ORDER
Subject:Transfer of work relating to Foundation/Induction Training of IAS officers from the AIS/Services Division to the Training Division of DoPT.
In pursuance of one of the decisions taken in the meeting held on 21.01.2015 under the chairmanship of Shri T. Jacob, Additional Secretary(Services \& Vigilance) on the subject as cited above, and with the approval of Secretary(P), the work relating to the Foundation/Induction Training of IAS officers which has been handled by the AIS/Services Division so far shall, from now, be looked after by the Training Division of DoPT. This transfer of work shall be treated as having come to prevail with immediate effect.
