This office memorandum details revisions to postings and promotions to the US grade on an ad-hoc basis within the Government of India. Specifically, it addresses the transfer of Shri A.S. OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Posting on transfer and on promotion to US grade on ad-hoc basis seeking revised options – reg.

In continuation of this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 03.03.2015 on the subject noted above, the undersigned is directed to say Shri A.S. Muraleedharan (CSL No. 8882) who was earlier indicated to be retained in UPSC is required to be transferred out of UPSC as he has been serving in UPSC since 2005 and completed the prescribed tenure under RTP. In view of this, another officer of UPSC viz. Shri Rajeev Ranjan (CSL No. 8715) will be retained against one of the vacancies in UPSC as he has not yet completed the prescribed tenure of six years in the Commission. Accordingly, the revised annexures II \& III viz. Officers to be retained on promotion, to be transferred from Group A to Group B and vice-versa are attached.
2. The officers who have not yet furnished option are advised to submit option latest by 12.3.2015, failing which their posting will be decided by the Placement Committee as per the available information.
