This notification, issued by the Government of India in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, extends the inter-cadre deputation period for Mr. Abhishek Sharma, an IAS officer of the 2018 batch from the Chhattisgarh cadre. The extension is for one year, effective from July 8, 2024, allowing him to serve in the AGMUT cadre (Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir) beyond his current tenure. This decision has been made by the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and includes a relaxation of policy for this extension. The notification is dated September 9, 2024.
