This notification announces the appointment of Mr. K. Gopalakrishnan Bhat, a member of the Kerala State Civil Service, to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on probation. This appointment, effective immediately and continuing until further orders, is made to fill vacancies from the year 2007. The appointment is based on the powers conferred by Rule 9(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Promotion by Recruitment) Regulations, 1955, read with Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, and Rule 8(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954. Furthermore, Mr. Bhat has been allocated to the Kerala cadre under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. The notification was issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, and was published in the Gazette of India.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (पदोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियमावली, 1955 के विनियम 9 के उप-विनियम (1) तथा भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (भर्ती) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 8 के उप नियम (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राष्ट्रपति, केरल की राज्य सिविल सेवा के सदस्य श्री के. गोपालकृष्ण भट को तत्काल प्रभाव से अगले आदेशों तक भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में वर्ष 2007 की रिक्तियों पर परिवीक्षा पर नियुक्त करते हैं और भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप नियम (1) के अन्तर्गत उन्हें केरल संवर्ग में आबंटित करते हैं ।
