This notification announces the allocation of Smt. Sarada Muraleedharan from the Madhya Pradesh cadre of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) to the Kerala cadre of IAS. This decision is made in accordance with orders from the Kerala High Court and the Supreme Court, and in exercise of the powers conferred by the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules. The notification supersedes a previous one issued in 1991. Copies have been forwarded to the Chief Secretaries of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, as well as the Accountants General of both states, for necessary action. The notification is also to be placed on the official website.

NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the Order dated 08.08.2006 of Kerala High Court in OP No. 31337/2001 read with the order dated 04.02.2008 of the Supreme Court in SLP No. 1341/08, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules 1954, allocates Smt. Sarada Muraleedharan from Madhya Pradesh cadre of IAS to Kerala cadre of IAS. This Notification is issued in supersession of this Ministry’s Notification No. 13013/15/91/AIS (I) dated 30.12.1991.
