This official notification declares that the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, will be applicable to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research starting November 17, 1986. This is an amendment to a previous notification from May 1986, specifically adding the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research as a society owned or controlled by the Government under the scope of this act. NOTIFICATION
G.S.R. 477417. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government thereby specifies the 17th day of November, 1986, as the date on and from which the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the said Act shall apply to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, being the society owned or controlled by Government and makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training) No. G.S.R. 738(C) dated the 2nd May, 1986, namely: “In the said notification, in the Schedules after serial number 5 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely: –
“5. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Society”
