A list of PAs with pending appointment/relieving orders is also included, highlighting various departments involved, including Expenditure, Health & Family Welfare, Culture, and Agriculture.

Subject:- Nomination of Stenos Grade ‘C’ for appointment to Private Secretary of the CSSS on adhoc basis – regarding
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 30.6 .2010 & 31.12 .2010 on the subject mentioned above and to say that it has come to the notice of this Department that some of the PAs who have been nominated for appointment to Private Secretary on adhoc basis have not been relieved so far by the Ministries/Departments concerned where they are presently working. The last date of compliance of the instructions has already passed. It is also pointed out that a large number of references/representations seeking retention of PS (adhoc), on one ground or the other have been received in this Department but it has not been found feasible to agree to such requests/representations .
- It is, therefore, requested that all PAs who have been nominated for appointment as PSs on adhoc basis may be relieved of their duties immediately, with the directions to report for duty in the Cadres to which they have been nominated, failing which action shall be initiated to cancel the nomination of such officers to the post PS of CSSS on adhoc basis. A List of PAs whose appointment order has not been received/issued by the cadres concerned as PS on adhoc basis is enclosed herewith (Ann. I) In case, nominated PAs do not take up their appointment by 15.6 .2011 , their orders would be cancelled without any further reference.
