An urgent request has been issued to locate critical personnel information for a number of Civil Service officers. These officers, who currently hold positions as Section Officers or ad-hoc Under Secretaries, are being considered for regular promotion to the Under Secretary Grade within the Civil Services. However, their Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) and essential vigilance clearances cannot be processed due to a lack of current data regarding their postings or whereabouts. All relevant Ministries and Departments are mandated to thoroughly check their records and provide comprehensive details, including present or previous postings, or information if the officers have left service or retired. This vital information must be submitted by June 18, 2009. A strict adherence to this deadline is crucial, as any failure to provide the requested data will unfortunately result in the exclusion of these officers from the promotion consideration panels.
