MINUTES OF THE PRE-BID MEETING WITH THE ORGANISATIONS
SHORLISTED FOR KNOWLEDGE PARTNER AND NATIONAL RESOURCE CENTRE HELD UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF JS(AT\&A) ON $3^{\text {RD }}$ AUGUST, 2009
JS(AT\&A) chaired a meeting with the representivatives of the following organizations shortlisted for Knowledge Partner And National Resource Centre:
i. Centre for Good Governance, Hyderabad
ii. Pricewaterhouse Coopers Pvt. Ltd.
iii. JPS Associates Pvt. Ltd.
iv. PRIA
v. Deloitte
vi. Grant Thorton
RFP was also issued to Education and Technology services Ltd for the assignment. However, no representative of the organization was present in the meeting. Following questions were raised which were clarified by the Department:
Q.1: What was the time frame for the assignment?
Ans.: The assignment at present would be till March 2010. No decision on extension of project has been taken.
Q.2: The validity of financial proposals will be till when.
Ans.: The validity will be till March 2010.
Q.3: In what format would the newsletter be?
Ans.: The newsletter will be published in an e-format.
Q.4: Will the contracting firm be responsible for only collection of data. Ans.: The contracting firm will be responsible for collection, collation and publication of data, documents.
Q.5: The number of workshops to be organised?
Ans.: At least 2 national level workshops to be conducted in the next 6 months, one for SICs and one for ATIs. Cost of workshops to be inbuilt into the total costs.
Q.6: What are the components of the Plan scheme.
Ans. Guidelines are attached.
Q.7: What is envisaged in a common IT gateway for ATIs and SICs?
Ans. The gateway would provide a platform for interaction, all stakeholders under the scheme.
Q.8: Where would the Secretariat for the Knowledge Partner be located?
Ans. The secretariat would be located at the organisation’s office.
Q. 9: Is conducting training of stakeholders a part of the assignment?
Ans: Training is not a part of the assignment.
