This notification announces the transfer of two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, Shri Shrivats Krishna (from Andhra Pradesh cadre) and Ms. Gunjan Krishna (from Maharashtra cadre), to the Karnataka cadre. The transfers are based on marriage, as permitted by Rule 5(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and have been approved by the Central Government with the consent of the concerned state governments. The notification is issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप नियम (2) द्वारा प्रदन्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा आंध्र प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र और कर्नाटक की सरकारों की सहमति से केन्द्र सरकार, श्री श्रीवत्स कृष्णा, भा.प्र. से. (आन्ध्र प्रदेश : 94) तथा सुश्री गुंजन कृष्णा, भा.प्र.से. (महाराष्ट्र : 04) को, विवाह के आधार पर, उनके संबंधित संवर्गो से कर्नाटक संवर्ग में एतदद्वारा स्थानान्तरित करती है ।
