Subject: Medical Examination of male candidates for appointment to the Assistant Section Officers’ Grade – CGLE, 2016.

Sir/Madam
I am directed to refer to the subject mentioned above and to say that the candidates recommended for appointment to Assistant Section Officers’ Grade of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) in Government of India, on the basis of CGLE, 2016 are required to appear before Medical Board as per schedule given in Annexure for their medical examination.
2. The candidates should report at 9:00 am in Room no. 234, OPD Block, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi on the date assigned to them. They should bring following along with them at the time of reporting for medical examination:

• 4 passport size photographs, out of which one should be attested by a Gazette Officer (those wearing spectacles must bring the photograph wearing spectacles);
• Candidates using glasses should bring spectacles with latest prescription;
• A copy of the medical format available on the website of this department. The path to download the same is www.dopt.gov.in – About Us – Central Secretariat – CSS Recruitment (DR) Assistants – Notice dated 28.02.2018.

1. The candidates who are already in government service need not reappear for the medical examination and may forward an attested copy of their medical examination report obtained at the time of appointment in government to the undersigned through their controlling authority.
