This office memorandum announces the mandatory Foundation Training Programme for Assistant Section Officers (DR ASOs) conducted by ISTM from January 15th to March 30th, 2018. Nominated officers are to be relieved of their duties and report to ISTM. The performance during training will be reflected in their APARs, and no exemptions will be granted. Ministries/Departments are requested to direct other eligible DR ASOs to attend. Officers must complete an online nomination form and submit it promptly. A list of nominated officers is included in Annexure-2, detailing their names, CGLE year, rank, and posting department.

Subject: Mandatory Training of DR Assistant Section Officers of CSS – 15.01.2018 to 30.03.2018 – Reg
The undersigned is directed to inform that Assistant Section Officers (DR ASOs) whose names are given in Annexure I, have been nominated for the mandatory Foundation Training Programme, being conducted by ISTM w.e.f. 15.01.2018 to 30.03.2018. Accordingly, these officers may be relieved of their duties and advised to report to Shri Agam Aggarwal, Deputy Director, ISTM, Administrative Block, JNU Campus (Old), New Delhi-110067 at 9.00 A.M. on $15^{\text {th }}$ January, 2018.
2. The performance of the officials in the training as evaluated and reported by ISTM should be reflected in their APAR and seniority. No request for withdrawal/exemption either from the Ministry/Department or the officer concerned shall be entertained. Vigilance clearance is not required for mandatory training programme. The Cadre Units are requested to ensure that the officials nominated to the above training programme are relieved in time.
3. In addition to officers mentioned in the Annexure, Ministries/Departments are requested to direct other DR ASOs, who have been left out or yet to qualify or who have joined after issue of this O.M. but before the commencement of this mandatory Training programme, to report to ISTM for the above training, under intimation to this Division and also to the Course Coordinator.

The link is http://www.istm.gov.in/home/online nomination form. They may take a print out of the form once filled up and submitted online, and then get it signed by their sponsoring authority and carry it with them on joining day of the course, at ISTM.
