The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Shri J. Elanchezhian, IPS (PB:2010), as DIG in CBI for an initial period of five years, starting from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. The order, dated 07.08.2025, has been communicated to the Director, Central Bureau of Investigation, and copied to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Guard File.
