The competent authority has approved the induction of four IPS officers for deputation as Superintendent of Police in the CBI for an initial tenure of four years, effective from their assumption of charge. These officers are Shri Vijayendra Bidari, Shri A Saravanan, Dr. Michael Raj, and Smt. Sharada Raut. The Ministry of Home Affairs has been requested to coordinate with the respective State Governments for their immediate relief to facilitate their joining the CBI. The necessary orders are to be issued accordingly, with intimation to the Department of Personnel and Training and the CBI. Copies of this communication have also been marked to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Director of CBI, Director (Technical) at NIC for website updates, and relevant internal files.

The Competent Authority has approved induction of the following IPS officers as Superintendent of Police in CBI on deputation basis for an initial tenure of 4 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, as per IPS Tenure Policy, 2010:
