CIRCULAR

Sub: Inter- Ministry Table Tennis Tournament 2019-20

Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board will organize the InterMinistry Table Tennis Tournament from 06.01.2020 to 17.01.2020 at Table Tennis Hall, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi. The Ministries/Departments desirous to participate in the Inter-Ministry Table-Tennis Tournament may send their entries in the prescribed proforma (attached) along with the entry fee for Team Championship and Double’s Event is Rs. 150/- and for Singles entry fee is Rs. 75/ – to the Central Civil Services Cultural \& Sports Board, Department of Personnel \& Training, Room no.361, “B” Wing, $3^{\text {rd }}$ Floor, Lok Nayak Bhawan, New Delhi-110003. Last date for submission of entries in the Central Civil Services Cultural \& Sports Board office is $02^{\text {nd }}$ January, 2020.
2. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with entry fee. Entry fee may be deposited in the Board’s Account through online/NEFT mode only. Board’s details are as under:

1. The rules and regulations governing the eligibility conditions for participation, etc. in the Inter Ministry tournament have already been circulated to all the Ministries. The competition will be held in the following events:
2. Team Championship
3. Men’s Singles
4. Men’s Double
5. Women’s Singles
6. Women’s Double
7. Veteran’s Singles

1. Veteran’s Doubles
2. Mixed Doubles
3. Women Veteran Singles
4. Women Veteran Doubles
5. The entry of Team/ Double event, partner should be from their respective Team only. Players from other teams will not be allowed in Double and Team Events.
6. The prescribed form duly signed by the Welfare Officer concerned should reach on or before the last date mentioned above. The rules and regulations governing the eligibility conditions for participation, etc. in the Inter-Ministry Tournament is available on the website of the Department of Personnel & Training (https://dopt.gov.in/about-us/wings-or-division-in-dopt/welfare-divisions).
7. Persons working in corporation, Public Sector, Autonomous bodies/Public Sector Banks/Undertaking (like FCA, DTC, LIC, ESIC, CBSE etc. will not be eligible to participate in the Inter-Ministry/AICS Tournaments even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries.

VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE

This Ministry/Department intends to enter a team for Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition. Accordingly the entry form duly filled up is sent herewith. I hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry to abide by the rules and instruction of the Tournament/Competition.

I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition are employees of the Central/State Government. No member of the team is a casual / daily wage employee. All the players are eligible to participate in the tournament/competition as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board. In case if it is found that any member of the team is not eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the tournament/competition without any notice to this Ministry/Department.

I also undertake the responsibility to ensure that this Ministry’s team after being entered in the Tournament/Competition will participate in the Tournament/Competition and at any stage would not refuse to participate or withdraw from the Tournament/Competition without prior approval of the Board.

I also certify that all the players participating in the Inter-Ministry Tournament are physically fit. Although CCSCSB provides first aid, any injury or mishap would not be the responsibility of the Board.
