CIRCULAR
Sub : Inter-Ministry Cricket (Veteran) Tournament 2023-24.
Central Civil Services Cultural and Snorts Board (CCSCSB) is going to organize Inter-Ministry Cricket (Veteran) Tournament 2023-24 from $06^{\text {th }}$ February 2024 to $22^{\text {nd }}$ February 2024 onwards at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, Chankya Puri, New Delhi. The entry fee for the Tournament is Rs. 1200/- Last date for submission of entries in the office of Central Civil Services Cultural \& Sports Board office, Room No 361, ‘B’ Wing, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 110003 is $30^{\text {th }}$ January 2024. The Ministry/ Department desirous to participate in the tournament may send their entries in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) along with the entry fee and photocopy of Identity Card of all the players.
2. The Tournament will be organised on League cum knock-out basis. No request for change of match schedule will be accepted in any circumstances. The age limit for participation in Inter Ministry Cricket (Veteran) tournament is 45 years and above. Copy of the Rules and Regulations are enclosed at Annexure-II.
3. There will be only one team from each Ministry. The Ministry may include in their team persons working in the attached and subordinate offices located at Delhi/ New Delhi. All teams/ Individuals considered to be represented as a part of Ministry’s Team only. Central Government organizations like UPSC, Election Commission, C\&AG’s Office, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Cabinet Secretariat, PMO etc. can sent independent teams. The entries are to be sent through the Welfare Offices of the Ministry concerned.
- No player (filled in entry form/proforma) will be changed without the approval of concerned Ministry/Departments Welfare Officer or Secretary, CCSCSB.
- The following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in this competition:-
(a) Uniformed personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organisations/ Central Police Organisation/P01ice/RPF/CISF/BSF/1TBP/NSG etc.
(b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/Corporations even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries.
(c) Casual/Daily wages workers.
(d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.
In case, at any time, it is found that a player included in the team is not eligible, the team would stand automatically disqualified from the tournament.
6. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry should be sent in the prescribed proforma (Annexure I) duly signed by the Welfare Officer concerned and should reach on or before the last date i.e. $30^{\text {th }}$ January 2024.

7. Referees’/Umpires’ decision shall be final and binding on the competing teams.

Inter Ministry Cricket Tournament (Veteran) Rules & Regulations:
I. The participant players should be not below the age of 45 years.
2. Only one team can participate from each Ministry. The photocopy of the Identity Card of the players should be enclosed with the Entry Form. Welfare Officer from Ministry may please ensure before sending the respective team. Partially filled form will not be entertained.
3. Inter Ministry Cricket Tournament 2023-24 will be played on 20-20 over patter on LEAGUE CUM KNOCK OUT basis.
4. Minimum of 06 over will constitute a match.
5. Simple Average will be considered for deciding a reduced over match due to light and weather conditions.
6. In case of wash out/tie till quarter final stage, the decision will be taken through ball out on cemented wicket at the ground (i.e. 1 over to be bowled on single wicket).
7. In case of wash out from Semi-finals onwards, the match will be played on the next day. If the situation persists, the decision will be taken through ball out on cemented wicket at the. ground (i.e. 1 over to be bowled on single wicket).
8. Teams must report to the Umpires at the ground 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the match i.e. 9.30 AM. Walk over will be awarded against the team (minimum of 8 players) which fails to report on the ground, maximum of 30 minutes after the scheduled start of the play.
9. Throughout minimum of 4 players will remain inside the 30 yard circle while fielding.
10. The team does not turn up for the match will be debarred for participating in the Inter Ministry for 2 years.
11. No request for rescheduling/postponement of matches will be entertained.
12. Only 4 players will be allowed to participate from other Ministry, if their Ministry is not participating in the Tournament. No NOC is required from their parent ministry. It is the sole discretion of the Ministry for allowing the player to participate from their Ministry.
13. The employees working in Delhi/NCR Region can only participate in the tournament.
14. All the players who participate in the tournament must carry their Identity Card on the ground.
15. Decisions of the Umpires will be final and binding.
