The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is hosting an Inter-Ministry Chess Tournament from February 1st to 10th, 2016, at the Table Tennis Hall, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi. Ministries and Departments interested in participating should submit their entries with the required fees (Rs. 100 for Team Championship, Rs. 50 for Singles) by January 29th, 2016. Entries must be accompanied by a prescribed form signed by the Welfare Officer. Detailed information, including rules and regulations, is available on the Department of Personnel & Training website. Participants should report to Shri Rajesh Kumar, Convenor, Chess, on February 1st, 2016.

CIRCULAR
Sub: Inter-Ministry Chess Tournament 2015-16.
Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is organizing Inter Ministry Chess Tournament 2015-16 from 1st February, 2016 to 10th February, 2016 at Table Tennis Hall, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi. The Ministry/Department desirous to participate in the Tournament may send their entries in the prescribed performa (already circulated) along with the entry fee. The entry fee for the events is Rs.100/- for Team Championship and Rs. 50/- for Singles. The entries may be deposited in the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board by 29th January, 2016.
- No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry should be sent in the prescribed form duly signed by the Welfare Officer concerned and should reach on or before the last date mentioned above. The rules and regulations governing the eligibility conditions for participation, etc. in the Inter-Ministry Tournament is available on the website of the Department of Personnel & Training (Persmin.nic.in/DOPT/Welfare/Sports/About Sports Board).
- The competition will be held in the following events:

Team Championship (4 players, with one reserve player).

Individual Championship.

Rapid Chess Championship.

All the participants should report to Shri Rajesh Kumar, Convenor, Chess at 9.45 sharp on 1st February, 2016. The detailed programme along with relevant details, rules and regulation will be supplied to the team/players at the venue of the Tournament.
