Inter-Ministry Chess Tournament 2014-15

The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is hosting an Inter-Ministry Chess Tournament from October 13th to 22nd, 2014, at the Table Tennis Hall in Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi. Ministries and Departments interested in participating should submit their entries, along with the required fees (Rs. 100 for Team Championship and Rs. 50 for Singles), to the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board by October 8th, 2014. Entries must be accompanied by a duly signed form from the Welfare Officer. The tournament will feature Team, Individual, and Rapid Chess Championships. Participants should report to Shri Rajesh Kumar, the Convenor, on October 13th at 9:45 AM. Detailed schedules and regulations will be provided at the tournament venue. CIRCULAR

Sub: Inter-Ministry Chess Tournament 2014-15.
Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is organizing Inter Ministry Chess Tournament 2014-15 from 13^{th } October, 2014 to 22^{nd } October, 2014 at Table Tennis Hall, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi. The Ministry/Department desirous to participate in the Tournament may send their entries in the prescribed performa (already circulated) along with the entry fee. The entry fee for the events is Rs.100/- for Team Championship and Rs. 50/- for Singles. The entries may be deposited in the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board by 8^{th } October, 2014.

  1. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry should be sent in the prescribed form duly signed by the Welfare Officer concerned and should reach on or before the last date mentioned above. The rules and regulations governing the eligibility conditions for participation, etc. in the Inter-Ministry Tournament is available on the website of the Department of Personnel & Training (Persmin.nic.in/DOPT/Welfare/Sports/About Sports Board).

  2. The competition will be held in the following events:

  3. Team Championship (4 players, with one reserve player).

  4. Individual Championship.

  5. Rapid Chess Championship.

  6. All the participants should report to Shri Rajesh Kumar, Convenor, Chess at 9.45 sharp on 13^{th } October, 2014. The detailed programme along with relevant details, rules and regulation will be supplied to the team/players at the venue of the Tournament.
