Subject: INTER-MINISTRY BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2015-16
The Inter-Ministry Badminton Tournament 2015-16 will be held from 04th January, 2016 to 14th January, 2016 (except Sunday i.e. 10.1.2016) at AIIMS GYMKHANA (4-9 January, 2016) & THYAGRAJ STADIUM (11-14 January, 2016), New Delhi respectively. The last date of entries is 30th December, 2015.
- The entry should be sent in the prescribed form duly signed by the Welfare Officer of the Ministry concerned to the office of the CCSC&SB at the above said address. No entries will be accepted after the due date i.e. 30.12.2015. Tournament will start with Men Singles/Doubles (qualifying) events and their draws will be displayed at the venue (AIIMS Gymkhana) on 3.1.2016 after 2.00 PM. The competition will be held in the following events:-

(Composition of Team Championship Event: Men-07 & Women-04 + 01 Manager)
- Entry Fee for the Team Championship is Rs. 200/-, Rs. 50/- for Singles and Rs. 100/- for Doubles.

The Men Singles/Doubles qualifying events will be open to new players/beginners only. The players who have represented the State or Central Secretariat Team in the All India Civil Services Badminton Tournament or have already qualified the qualifying event in the previous years need not participate in the qualifying events of the tournament. Players reaching up to quarter finals in Men Singles/Doubles in the qualifying event will get automatic entry in the main event of Men Singles/Doubles. Matches for THIRD PLACE for all the above mentioned events (except qualifying event) will be held between the looser of Semi Finalist.

All the players should reach the venue for their matches well in time as mentioned in the Draw/Time Schedule display at the venue, otherwise walkover rule will strictly apply against him/her & no further request will be entertained in this regard. Time scheduled of the above events will also be available at the website of our Ministry i.e. persmin.nic.in from 01.01.2016.

The eligibility conditions for participation in the Inter-Ministry Tournament have already been circulated to all the Ministries.

This Office intends to enter a team for the Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition. Consequently I submit the entry form duly completed. I hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry/Deptt. to abide by the rules and instructions of the Tournament/Competition.
I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition are employees of the Ministry. No member of the team is a casual/daily wage employees. All the players are eligible to participate in the Tournament/Competition as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board. In case if it is found that any member of the team is not eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the Tournament/Competition without any notice to this Ministry.
