CIRCULAR

Sub : Inter-Ministry Athletic Meet 2018-19

The Inter-Ministry Athletic Meet 2018-19 will be held at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, New Delhi on $3^{\text {rd }} \& 4^{\text {th }}$ December 2018.
2. The competition will be held in the events as indicated in Annexure-I.
3. All teams/individuals would be represented as part of a Ministry’s team only. The entries are to be sent through the Welfare Officer of the Ministry concerned.
4. An Athlete can participate only in TWO individual events (including veteran events) excluding two Relay events and each Ministry can enter not more than TWO participants in one event. There must be at least FOUR entries to conduct an event.
5. Best Athlete (Men \& Women) will be decided on the basis of points tabulated from the point table (IAAF scoring table) to their performance in each event in competition.
6. Team Championships (Men \& Women) in open sections will be awarded on the basis of points upto THREE places viz. 7, 5 \& 4 in each event.
7. There will be a march past on the inaugural day. Each Ministry will bring their own FLAG for March Past. The March Past Trophy will be given to the Ministry for best performance in March Past.
8. The entry fee of Rs. 30/- per head per event and Rs. 60/- for per Relay event may be deposited in Board’s account as per details. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry fee should be deposited only through online mode in the Boards account.

  1. The Names along with photocopy of ID Card of the intending competitors may be sent to the Office of the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board, Room No. 361, ‘B’ Wing, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 110003 in a prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) duly signed by the Welfare Officer and should reach on or before 28th November, 2018 along with their entry fee. No entry will be accepted after the given date.

  2. Eligibility conditions are available on the website of the department at (https://dopt.gov.in/about-us/wings-or-division-in-dopt/welfare-divisions) for participation in the said tournament.

VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE

This Ministry intends to enter a team for the Inter-Ministry Tournaments. Consequently I submit the entry form duly completed. I hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry to abide by the rules and instructions of the Tournament.

I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament are employers of the Ministry. No member of the team is a casual/daily wage employees. All the players are eligible to participate in the tournament as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board. In case, it is found that any member of the team is not eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the tournament without any notice to this Ministry.

I also certify that all the players mentioned in the form are physically and mentally fit to participate in this Tournament.

I also undertake the responsibility to ensure that this Ministry’s team after being entered in the tournament will participate in the tournament and at any stage would not refuse to participate or withdraw from the tournament without prior approval of the Board.
