The Government of India has approved the inter-cadre transfer of two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, Riju Bafna and Avi Prasad, between the Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh cadres. This transfer is based on the marriage of Ms. Riju Bafna (Chhattisgarh cadre) to Mr. Avi Prasad (Madhya Pradesh cadre). The order is issued under the provisions of Rule 5(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, with the consent of both the Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh governments.

सहमति से सुश्री रिजू बाफना, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (सीजीः14) को छत्तीसगढ़ संवर्ग से मध्य
प्रदेश संवर्ग में श्री अवी प्रसाद, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (एमपीः14) से शादी के आधार पर
स्थानांतरित करती है।
