The Government of India has approved the inter-cadre transfer of Mr. Vikalp Bhardwaj, IAS (Kerala: 2017) to the Gujarat cadre, based on his marriage to Ms. Pooja Yadav, IPS (Gujarat: 2018). This transfer is executed under the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the consent of both the Kerala and Gujarat state governments. The notification was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप-नियम (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा केरल और गुजरात राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा श्री विकल्प भारद्वाज, आईएएस (केरल: 2017) को सुश्री पूजा यादव, आईपीएस (गुजरात : 2018) से विवाह करने के आधार पर केरल संवर्ग से गुजरात संवर्ग में स्थानांतरण करती है।
