The Central Government has approved the extension of the inter-cadre deputation tenure of Shri Vishal Solanki, IAS (Assam-Meghalaya: 2005) from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre to the Maharashtra cadre for a further period of two years, or until further orders, effective after February 28, 2021. This decision was made using the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, with the consent of the governments of Assam, Meghalaya, and Maharashtra.
