This notification announces the approval of the central government to extend the inter-cadre deputation tenure of Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh, IAS (Gujarat: 2008) from the Gujarat cadre to the Bihar cadre, on a personal basis, for a period of two years beyond 07.01.2021, or until further orders, whichever comes first. This decision was made utilizing the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the consent of the governments of Gujarat and Bihar.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा गुजरात और बिहार की राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से, केंद्र सरकार डा. रंजीत कुमार सिंह, आईएएस (गुजरात: 2008) के गुजरात संवर्ग से बिहार संवर्ग में अंतर-संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति कार्यकाल को वैयक्तिक आधारों पर 07.01.2021 के पश्चात दो वर्ष की अवधि के लिए बढ़ाने या अगले आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, हेतु अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
