NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Governments of Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the Central Government hereby accords approval to the proposal for inter cadre deputation of Shri Virendra Singh, IAS (MH:2006) from Maharashtra cadre to Rajasthan cadre for a period of three years on personal grounds from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

  1. The Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai – 400032 w.r.t. letter No. DEP-1018/CR-723/2018/X dated 28.12.2018 with the request to relieve the officer immediately under intimation to this Department.
  2. The Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur – 302005 w.r.t. letter No.F.5(18)Pers/A-1/2006 Part dated 23.01.2019 with the request to provide a copy of the joining report of the officer to this Department. It is also requested to ensure that the officer is relieved immediately at the end of the approved tenure of inter-cadre deputation. The officer shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in Service, in case he does not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  3. The Accountant General, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai – 400032.
  4. The Accountant General, Govt. of Rajasthan, Jaipur – 302005 with the request to stop payment of salary to the officer beyond the approved period of deputation.
  5. Shri Virendra Singh, IAS (MH:2006) (through the Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai – 400032). You shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in service in terms of DOPT O.M. No.13017/08/2002-AIS.I dated 14.08.2013 and No.13017/05/2013-AIS.I dated 11.11.2017, in case you do not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  6. The Deputy Secretary (SM-I), w.r.t. ID note No.37/7/2019-EO (SM-I), dated 23.03.2019.
