भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा ओडिसा और बिहार राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से केंद्र सरकार, एतद्वारा भी मनीष कुमार वर्मा, आईएएस (ओआर:2000) के ओडिसा संवर्ग से बिहार संवर्ग में, विशेष मामले के रूप में, नीति में छूट देकर 23.03.2018 से एक और वर्ष के लिए अथवा अगले आदेशों, जो भी पहले हो, तक के लिए अंतर-संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति के विस्तार के प्रस्ताव को अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
