NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby accords approval to the proposal for Inter cadre deputation of Shri D. Manikandan, IAS (AGMUT:2010) from AGMUT cadre to Tamil Nadu cadre for a period of three years on personal grounds from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

  1. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Under Secretary (UTS-I), North Block, New Delhi, w.r.t. OM No. 14046/43/2012.UTS-I dated 05.08.2019 with the request to relieve the officer immediately under intimation to this Department.
  2. The Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai – 600002, w.r.t. letter No. 1041/2019-1 dated 15.11.2019. It is requested to kindly send the joining report of the officer to this Department. It is also requested to ensure that the officer is relieved immediately at the end of the approved tenure of inter-cadre deputation. The officer shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in Service, in case he does not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  3. The Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, C-1 Hutments, Dara Shukoh Road, New Delhi – 110011.
  4. The Accountant General, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai – 600002 with the request to stop payment of salary to the officer beyond the approved period of deputation.
  5. Shri D. Manikandan, IAS (AGMUT:2010) (through the Ministry of Home Affairs, Under Secretary (UTS-I), North Block, New Delhi). You shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in service in terms of DOPT O.M. No.13017/08/2002-AIS.I dated 14.08.2013 and No.13017/05/2013AIS.I dated 11.11.2017, in case you do not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  6. The Deputy Secretary (SM), w.r.t. ID note No.37/43/2019-EO (SM-I), dated 13.12.2019.
