NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Uttar Pradesh and the Andhra Pradesh, the Central Government hereby accords approval for inter cadre deputation of Shri A V Rajamouli, IAS(UP:2003) from Uttar Pradesh cadre to Andhra Pradesh cadre for a period of three years, in relaxation of the policy.

  1. The Chief Secretary, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow -w.r.t. letter dated 26.06.2024 with the request to relieve the officer immediately.
  2. The Chief Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh, A.P. Secretariat, Velagapudi-522238, Guntur w.r.t. D.O. letter dated 12.06.2024 and letter No. 2468801/SC.A/2024 dated 18.06.2024 with request to provide a copy of the joining report of the officer to this Department. It is requested to ensure that the officer is relieved immediately at the end of the approved tenure of inter cadre deputation. The officer shall be liable to disciplinary action and break in service, in case he does not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  3. The Accountant General, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
  4. The Accountant General, State Government of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 520002 with the request to stop payment of salary to the officer beyond the approved period of deputation.
  5. Shri A V Rajamouli, IAS (UP:2003) (through the Chief Secretary, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow). You will be liable to disciplinary action & break in service in terms of DOPT O.M., No. 13017/28/2022-AIS.I dated 15.11.2022 in case you do not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  6. The Director EO(SM-I), w.r.t. Communication No.37/12/2015-EO (SM-I), dated 06.07.2024.
