In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Government of Punjab and the Ministry of Home Affairs the Central Govt. hereby accords approval for the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for inter cadre deputation of Shri Sarvjit Singh, IAS (PB:92) from Punjab cadre to AGMUT cadre (Chandigarh Admin), for appointment as Finance Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, for three years.
