The Government of India has approved the inter-cadre deputation of K. Vijendra Pandian, an IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre (2008 batch), to the Tamil Nadu cadre. This deputation is effective from the date he assumes charge in Tamil Nadu and will be valid for a period of three years, or until further orders. The decision was made utilizing the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the consent of both the Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu state governments.

केन्द्र सरकार, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6 (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और उत्तर प्रदेश और तमिलनाडु राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से एतददवारा श्री के. विजयेन्द्र पांडिअन, आईएएस (उत्तर प्रदेश:2008) की वैयक्तिक आधारों पर उत्तर प्रदेश संवर्ग से तमिलनाडु संवर्ग में उनके कार्यभार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से तीन वर्षों की अवधि के लिए अथवा अगले आदेशों, जो भी पहले हो, अंतर-संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति को अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
