The Central Government has approved the inter-cadre deputation of Shri Hirdesh Kumar, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Jammu & Kashmir cadre, to the Uttar Pradesh cadre. This deputation is for a period of three years, effective from the date Shri Hirdesh Kumar assumes charge. The decision was made in accordance with the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the concurrence of the governments of Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. The notification also clarifies that Shri Hirdesh Kumar will be liable to disciplinary action and a break in service if he fails to hand over charge at the end of the approved deputation period. Copies of this notification have been forwarded to relevant authorities in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh, including the Chief Secretaries and Accountants General, and also to Shri Hirdesh Kumar himself.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Govts. of Jammu \& Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh the Central Government hereby accords approval for the inter cadre deputation of Shri Hirdesh Kumar, IAS (JK:99) from Jammu \& Kashmir cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre for a period of three years with effect from the date Shri Hirdesh Kumar assumes charge of the post.
