Strict administrative protocols are in place, requiring the officer to be relieved promptly and submit a joining report to the Department of Personnel & Training. Furthermore, the guidelines explicitly state that the officer must hand over charge at the culmination of the approved three-year tenure, failing which she could face disciplinary action and a ‘break in service.’ Financial controls are also established, with the Accountant General of Odisha instructed to cease salary payments beyond the approved deputation period.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the cadre controlling authority of AGMUT cadre i.e. M/o Home Affairs and the State Government of Odisha, the Central Government hereby accords approval for inter cadre deputation of Ms. Monica Priyadarshini, IAS (AGMUT:2014) from AGMUT Cadre to Odisha Cadre for a period of three years on personal grounds.
