The central government has approved the inter-cadre deputation of Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh, IAS (GJ 2008) from the Gujarat cadre to the Bihar cadre. This deputation is effective from the date of joining the new position and will be valid for a period of three years, or until further orders are issued. This decision was made utilizing the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the consent of both the Gujarat and Bihar governments.

केन्द्र सरकार, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और गुजरात और बिहार सरकार की सहमति से डा. रंजीत कुमार सिंह, आई.ए.एस. (जी.जे. 2008) को गुजरात संवर्ग से बिहार संवर्ग में अंतर-संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति को प्रभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए, या अगले आदेश तक, जो भी पहले हो, का अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
