Inter-Cadre Deputation Approval for IAS Officer Piyush Singh

A recent notification from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, announces the approval for the inter-cadre deputation of Shri Piyush Singh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Maharashtra cadre. He will be deputed to the Uttarakhand cadre for a period of five years. This decision has been made in accordance with Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the concurrence of the Governments of both Maharashtra and Uttarakhand. The notification also specifies that Shri Piyush Singh will be liable for disciplinary action and a break in service if he fails to hand over charge at the end of his approved deputation period. This notification is to be published in the Gazette of India, Part I, Section II, and has been communicated to relevant authorities in Maharashtra and Uttarakhand, including their respective Chief Secretaries and Accountant Generals.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Governments of Maharashtra and Uttarakhand, the Central Government hereby accords approval for the inter cadre deputation of Shri Piyush Singh, IAS (MH:2000) from Maharashtra cadre of the IAS to Uttarakhand cadre of the IAS for a period of five years.
