The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Shri Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagwan, an IPS officer from the 2015 batch, as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The appointment is for a period of five years, effective from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders are issued. Copies of the order are being sent to The Director, Central Bureau of Investigation and others.
