The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Shri Gaurav Singh, an IPS officer from the MH cadre of 2012, to the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This appointment is for a period of five years, commencing from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further orders are issued. The order has been circulated to the Director of CBI, the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Additional Secretary (Police-I) at MHA, and also filed in the guard file.
