The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the induction of Ms. Supriya Patil Yadav, IPS (MH:2004), as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). She will be serving on a lateral shift basis from the Intelligence Bureau for the remainder of her deputation period, until April 17, 2024, or until further orders are issued. Copies of this order have been circulated to various departments and officials including the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Director of the CBI.
