The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Ms. Sarah Sharma, IPS (OD:2010), as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Her appointment will be on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date she assumes charge, or until further orders are issued, whichever occurs first. This order has been communicated to the Director of CBI, the Central Vigilance Commissioner, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
