The Competent Authority has approved the induction of Shri Sanganakal Veeresh Prabhu and Shri Abdul Jabbar as Deputy Inspector Generals in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). These appointments are on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date they assume their responsibilities, or until further notice. The order has been circulated to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Director of the CBI, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and is also kept on file.
