G.S.R. 609 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Service Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with Section 61(3) of the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Amendment Act, 2012 and sub-rule(2)of Rule 4 of Indian Forest Service (Cadre) Rules, 1966, the Central Government in consultation with the Government of Manipur hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, namely :-
- (i) These regulations shall be called the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Amendment Regulations, 2013.
(ii) They shall come into force from 24.12.2012. - In the Schedule to the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, for the heading “Manipur-Tripura” and the entries occurring thereunder, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
