सा.का.नि. 79(अ).—केन्द्र सरकार, अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, असम-मेघालय सरकार के परामर्श से भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (वेतन) नियम, 2016 में आगे और संशोधन करने के लिए एततद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात् :-

1. (I) ये नियम, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (वेतन), द्वितीय संशोधन नियम, 2025 कहलाएंगे।
   (2) ये नियम शासकीय राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगे।
2. भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (वेतन) नियम, 2016 की अनुसूची II में :-
   (क) राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में वरिष्ठ वेतनमान के ऊपर के वेतन वाले पदों के भाग क में, प्रथम कॉलम में आने वाली ‘असम-मेघालय’ प्रविष्टि और दूसरे कॉलम में आने वाली तदनुरूपी प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा अर्थात्:-

“असम-मेषालय

(ख) वेतन के अतिरिक्त विशेष भले वाले पदों सहित राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के वरिष्ठ वेतनमान वाले पदों के भाग ख में असम-मेषालय शीर्षक के तहत आने वाली प्रविष्टियों के लिए तालिका में निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात् :-

टिप्पणीः प्रधान नियम, दिनांक 08 सितम्बर, 2016 की सा.का.नि.सं. 870(अ) के तहत भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण में प्रकाशित हुए थे और बाद में निम्नलिखित सा.का.नि.सं. एवं दिनांक द्वारा संशोधित किए गए थे:-

New Delhi, the 27th January, 2025
G.S.R. 79(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Assam-Meghalaya hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2016, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Second Amendment Rules, 2025.
   (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2016, in Schedule II,–
   (a) in Part A relating to Posts carrying pay above the Senior Scale of pay of the Indian Administrative Service under the State Governments, in the table, for the entry “Assam-Meghalaya” occurring in the first column and corresponding entries in the second column, the following shall be substituted namely:-
   “Assam-Meghalaya

(b) in Part B relating to Posts carrying pay in the Senior Scale of the Indian Administrative Service under the State Governments including posts carrying Special Allowance in addition to pay, in the table for the entries occurring under Assam-Meghalaya the following shall be substituted,–
